She’s got that “Kagamin” style tsundere look to her in the manga. Only actually noticed when I re-read volume 1 a few weeks ago. Shame on you KyoAni!
They made Mio too moe in the anime, just one of the many differences I’ve noticed between the manga and anime. Maybe I should start reading the manga. Hopefully there won’t be so much moe overload.
Funny I should notice this post today. I was at barnes and nobels earlier and looked at the manga for K-on. Some of the character designs I liked a lot, but overall I think I prefer the anime versions. Then again I haven’t even seen the show, lol. So who am i to talk? I’m just judging it from clips. But a few of the characters in the manga looks, IDK…”off” to me I guess.
